Real-Time Reporting with Minimal Impact

GoldenGate's Live Reporting solution significantly lowers query overhead by off-loading the reporting activity from the production database to a lower-cost secondary system, such as an operational data store (ODS), where the most current data is always available to support real-time reporting needs. This secondary database can be a different database and/or platform from the production database, to lower the total cost of ownership and allow organizations to leverage emerging open source technologies. The solution also helps increase scalability as user demands and data volumes grow.

The underlying GoldenGate Transactional Data Management (TDM) software platform offers continuous data feeds from the production system to the reporting database in sub-second latency. With log-based data capture capabilities, the solution avoids performance degradation to production systems.
